Sri Kamakoti Mandali is a close-knit group of upāsakas and this is the e-Grantha Mandira for the disciples of the Maṇḍalī to read articles related to Srīvidyā, Advaita, Kuṇḍalinī Yoga and understand the teachings of our Guru Maṇḍala. Our Gurunātha belongs to the lineage of Srī Dakṣiṇāmnāya Sringeri Sharadā Pīṭham and was initiated into spiritual practices in his childhood. He studied Srīvidyā and Advaita Vēdānta from Brahmaśrī K P Shankara Shastri, the āśthāna vidvān of Sringeri Sharadā Pīṭham and the Principal of Shankara Sanskrit College, Kaladi. He further studied Prasthānatraya bhāṣya from Vēdabrahmaśrī Vidyānidhi Anantanarayana Avadhanigal. He also enjoyed the privilege of receiving guidance on Srīvidyā, Kuṇḍalinī Yoga and Tantra śāstra from various masters like Late Sri Sitaram Kaviraj, Paramahamsa Parivrājakācārya Srī Shāntānanda Sarasvatī, Sri C V Kamakoti Shastri (Srī Bālānandanātha) & 'Lōpāmudrā' Smt Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan (Smt. Prakāśāmbā) of Guhananda Mandali, Sri Ranaji, Sri Viśuddhānanda Sarasvatī of Sumeru Maṭha and Anantaśrīvibhuṣita Chinmudrānandanātha.
Sri Kamakoti Mandali has been fortunate to have in our Guru a loving Mother who has always nurtured the śiṣyavr̥nda, never expecting anything but dedication to upāsanā. This is a humble attempt to consolidate the teachings of our Guru Maṇḍala. Sri Kamakoti Mandali, as conceived by our Guru, is not an organization or a self-help group. It is occasionally involved in charity and various religious activities but is not associated with any socio-religious organizations, maṭhas or monasteries. Kamakoti Mandali simply means the family of Kāmakōṭi - of Srī Lalitā Mahātripurasundarī Rājarājēśvarī - who shines in the Kāmakōṭi Pīṭha as Bhagavatī Kāmākṣī Parābhaṭṭārikā. The credit for this nomenclature goes to Smt. Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan (Prakāśāmbā), the direct disciple of Brahmaśrī Chidānandanātha, who has showered limitless blessings on the Mandali.
