Guru Paramparā

Our Gurunātha was initiated at a very young age by āśthānavidvān Srī K P Shankara Shastri into śrīvidyā and received Pādukānta Dīkṣā from this Mahāvidvān. Srī K P Shankara Shastri was the direct disciple of Mahāmahōpādhyāya Hanagal Virupaksha Shastri, the disciple of Srī Saccidānanda Shivābhinava Nr̥simha Bhāratī of Sriṅgērī Shāradā Pīṭha, and also the vidyāguru of Srī Chandraśēkhara Bhāratī.

Our Guru also received initiation into the upāsanā of Srī Ucchiṣṭa Mahāgaṇapati and Mahāmahāpādukā dīkṣā by Smt. Prakāśāmbā (Smt. Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan) of Guhānanda Maṇḍalī. Known as the living embodiment of Srīdēvī, she was the foremost disciple of Brahmaśrī Chidānandanātha.

Finally, our Guru was initiated into the Sarvāmnāya Krama and received Māhāsāmrājyamēdhā dīkṣā from Srī Chinmudrānandanātha, a Siddha who had retained his body for a long period of time. Srī Chinmudrānandanātha was initiated into Kāmakalā Kālī mantra by Mahāmāhēśvara. Dīpakānandanātha, Nīlatārā Mahāvidyā by Kulānandanātha and ṣōḍaśītraya by Dhēnukānandanātha, the Guru of Trailiṅga Siddha. At the age of seventy-two, he recieved Mahāsāmrājyamēdhā dīkṣā directly from Lord Svacchandabhairavānandanātha after which he attained pūrṇasiddhi.
