Sri S K Ramachandra Rao introduced me to the divine shrine of Lord Gurunarasimha situated in the village of Saligrama in Karnataka. The beauty, majesty, and power exuded by this idol are immense. He narrated many of his experiences related to the shrine, some of which he had heard from others, some of which I have concluded to be true and not mere atiśayōkti, especially after the Lord once shook me awake from my slumber forever. The epithet of Gurunarasimha is especially meaningful to our lineage as the mūlaguru of Bimbāmbikā sampradāya is Nrsimha, adored through a combination of Mantrarāja and Bahurūpa mantras.
