प्रसन्नवदनाम्भोजां प्रोद्यद्बालार्कसप्रभाम्
रक्ताम्बरां रक्तमाल्यां नानालङ्कारभूषिताम् |
सस्मितां दिव्यकन्याभिः क्रीडारसपरायणाम्
ध्यायेत्कुमारिकां बालां स्वभक्ताभीष्टसिद्धिदाम् ||
For a śākta upāsaka, whether belonging to śrīkula or kālīkula, worship of Kumārī is of great significance. Without Kūmārī pūjana, no vidhi is considered complete. The Kumarīs worshiped are different based on one’s sampradāya, occasion, desired goal, etc.
The following is the list of Kumārīs popularly worshiped (from the ages one to sixteen respectively):

The elaborate procedure of propitiating Kumārī involves invoking the fifty Kumārikā śaktis:
ādyā, jayā, vijayā, r̥ddhidā, māyā, phalā, siddhidā, sūkṣmā, prabhā, suprabhā, vidyutā, śuddhā, viśuddhā, nandinī, aparājitā, lalitā, lakṣmī, gaurī, mēdhā, gāyatrī, sāvitrī, svadhā, svāhā, icchā, kriyā, vidyā, prajnā, dīptā, cētanā, bhadrā, jyēṣṭhā, umā, śiva, muditā, kṣamā, śraddhā, vimalā, kaumudī, viśadā, aśōkā, jnānadā, baladā, rājyadā, maitrī, rudrāṇī, bhavānī, mr̥ḍāṇī, sarvajnā, caṇḍikā and kumārī.
Based on the pramāṇa of Srīgarbha Kulārṇava Tantra, the samaṣṭi of all Kumārīs worshiped is always Bhagavatī ṣaḍakṣarī Bālā in the case of śrīvidyā.
