Navanāṭha Siddhas are popular throughout Yogic and Tantric literature but there seems to be very little clarity on who they really are. Also, there is no consensus on the list of these nine Siddhas. According to Mahārṇava tantra, the list of nine Nāthas is as below:
1. Gorakṣanātha
2. Jālandharanātha
3. Nāgārjuna
4. Sahasrārjuna
5. Dattātreya
6. devadatta
7. Jaḍabharata
8. ādinātha
9. Matsyendranātha
Some texts also speak of Navanārāyaṇas incarnating as Navanāthas:
1. Kavinārāyaṇa – Matsyendranātha
2. Karabhājananārāyaṇa – Gāhaninātha
3. Antarikṣanārāyaṇa – Jālandharanātha
4. Prabuddhanārāyaṇa – Karaṇipānātha
5. āvirhotranārāyaṇa – Nāganātha
6. Pippalāyananārāyaṇa – Charpaṭanātha
7. Chamasanārayaṇa – Revānātha
8. Harinārāyaṇa – Bhartṛnātha
9. Drumilanārāyaṇa – Gopīcandranātha
A work dealing with Nātha sampradāya, Sudhākara Chandrikā, lists the following nine Nāthas:
1. Ekanātha
2. ādinatha
3. Matsyendranātha
4. Udayanātha
5. Daṇḍanātha
6. Satyanātha
7. Santoṣanātha
8. Kūrmanātha
9. Jālandharanātha
In the śrīvidyā sampradāya, the names of the following nine Nāthas can be seen:

2. Vimarśānandanātha
