The Kālīkula, though primarily accepted by folks like us to mean Kādi, is grouped by upāsakas whose upāsanā is centered around Bhagavatī Kālikā, into:
– Kādi
– Hādi and
– Sādi
Of these, Vidyātrayī belongs to Kādi mārga and hence are adopted as aṅgas to Sundarī by śrīvidyā upāsakas on the Krama path. These are identified through the samjñā of agni, sūrya and soma vidyās, represented by:
1. Dakṣiṇā Kālī
2. Guhyakālī and
3. Kāmakalākālī mantras
Again, Guhyakālī is of two forms: Sakalā and Niṣkalā.
Sakalā is again of three forms: Ugrā, Saumyā, and Aghōrā, of which the second was worshipped by sage Vasiṣṭha (where the Dēvī is daśamukhī).
Niṣkalā is pañcavimśati vaktrā and worshipped by Anandabhairava.
There are ten aṅgavidyās of Bhagavatī Guhyakālikā when she is propitiated as Uttarāmnāyēśvarī within śrīvidyā, which include:
1 Hamsatārā
2 Shāmbhavī
3 Vidyārājnī (Dakṣiṇā kālī)
4 Parāṣōḍaśī (kādi)
5 Saptadaśī (hādi)
6 Dīpinī
7 Mālinī (Mātr̥kā sarasvatī)
8 Kullā
9 Baḍabāmukhī and
10 Sumukhī
These vidyās and aṅga-krama are indicated through the following names of Guhyakālī sahasranāma:
daśavidyāsamārādhyā, mālinyādyarcitā, ucchiṣṭadēvatārādhyā, vilōmasundarī, ūrdhvāmnāyamayī, karpūravidyā, karpūrā, dvāvimśatyakṣarī, dīpinī, rājñī, brahmāstranāyikā (pāṭhāntara: brahmāstradēvatā), lōpāmudrā, hamsavidyā, piśācinī, aṅgapratyaṅgasampūrṇā, kādicakrapravartinī, triguṇā, agnividyā, sūryavidyā, sōmavidyā and tribhaṅginī.
