The āmnāya devatās of śrīkula primarily range from śuddhavidyā to Parā. These are the various forms in which Mahātripurasundarī Parābhaṭṭārikā was invoked by various upāsakas.
śuddhānanda upāsyatvācchuddhavidyeti kathyate |
śuddhatvācchuddhavidyeti paśupāśavimocinī |
ādau śiṣyasya hṛdaye saṃsthāpya śuddhaye ca tām ||
śuddhavidyā is so called because of having been propitiated by śuddhānandanātha. This vidyā is representative of pure knowledge which liberates one from bondage. The Guru places this vidyā at the beginning of dīkṣā in the heart of the disciple to purify him.
bālā līlāviśiṣṭatvāt baleti ca sadā priye |
artheti dhārayā nityaṃ yuktasya parameśvari ||
Bālā is that power known so due to her playful nature.
dvidaśānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
dvādaśārdheti vikhyātā tasyā devyāśca sarvadā ||
The vidyā of Dvādaśārdhāmbā was propitiated by Dvidaśānandanātha.
mataṅgasya prasannatvānmātaṅgīti varānane |
sā śyāmalā tu vidyāyā mudrāṃ vahati mudriṇī ||
Mātaṅgī, who was invoked by the sage Mataṅga, is also called Mudriṇī as she bears the royal seal [mudrā] of the empress Mahātripurasundarī.
tāḥ kāmagiripīṭhasthāḥ pūrvāmnāyasya devatāḥ ||
These are the devatās of Pūrvāmnāya stationed in Kāmagiri pīṭha.
subhagānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
saubhāgyavidyā vikhyātā tasminnarthe na saṃśayaḥ ||
śrīvidyānandanāthasya copāsyatvānmaheśvari |
saubhāgyāyāḥ tatastasyāḥ śrīvidyeti hi gīyate ||
The vidyā worshiped by Subhagānandanātha is called Saubhāgyavidyā. The same vidyā, on account of being propitiated by śrīvidyānandanātha is also called śrīvidyā.
bandhinīlākinībhyāṃ tu sahitasya maheśvari |
gaganānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
vikhyātā bagaletyetadrahasyamiti gīyate ||
The vidyā of Bagalāmukhī was propitiated by Gaganānandanātha along with his two śaktis Bandhinī and Lākinī.
varāhānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
vārāhīti suvikhyātā varāhavadanena ca ||
On account of having graced Varāhānandanātha, this vidyā is referred to as Vārāhī.
sarvadā daṇḍapāṇitvāt vikhyātastu varānane |
vaṭukaśceti prakhyāto vaṭurūpeṇa vā tataḥ ||
On account of sporting a daṇḍa in his hands, as also assuming the form of a vaṭu (a young, celibate brāhmaṇa youth), the Bhairava is called Vaṭuka.
abhaktānāṃ ca sarveṣāṃ tirodhānādikāriṇī |
śrītiraskariṇī proktā śṛṇu satyaṃ varānane ||
The vidyā of Tiraskariṇī conceals from the non-devotee and the non-initiate, the upāsaka as well as the secrets of Kulāmnāya such as mantra, mudrā etc.
tāḥ pūrṇagiripīṭhasthāḥ dakṣiṇāmnāyadevatāḥ ||
These are the devatās of Dakṣiṇāmnāya stationed in Pūrṇagiri pīṭha.
lopāmudrāprasannatvāllopāmudreti gīyate ||
The Hādividyā is also called Lopāmudrā vidyā as it was perfected and revealed by Lopāmudrā.
bhuvanānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
bhuvaneśīiti vikhyātā bhuvaneśīiti gīyate ||
The form in which parāmbā conferred siddhi to Bhuvanānandanātha is called Bhuvaneśvarī.
tanmāyayā sarvapūrṇamannaṃ dattaṃ maheśvari |
annapūrṇeti vikhyātā tena pakṣeṇa kathyate ||
annarūpeṇa yā devī tvāvirbhavati sā priye |
śrīpūrṇānandanāthasyetyannapūrṇeti gīyate ||
Goddess Annapūrṇā who blesses devotees with anna samṛddhi was propitiated by Pūrṇānandanātha.
tasya kāmeśvarākhyasya kāmeśvaryāśca pārvati |
kālākhyasya vilāsasya jñātā kāmākaleti sā ||
The knower of the the vilāsākhya kalā of Kāmeśvara and Kāmeśvarī is the great Kāmakalā vidyā.
jālandhrapīṭhanilayāḥ paścimāmnāyadevatāḥ ||
These are the devatās of Paścimāmnāya.
śrīturyānandanāthasya prasannatvādvarānane |
turyā ceti ca vikhyātā tasyā devyā nirantaram ||
Turīyā vidyā was propitiated by Turīyānandanātha.
mahaughānandanāthasya mantrārthe suprasannatā |
mahārdheti pravikhyātā tasyā devyā nirantaram ||
The vidyā propitiated by Mahaughānandanātha is popular as Mahārdhāmbā.
turageṣu sthitā kācannaśvārūḍheti gīyate ||
As she is stationed on a horse, this vidyā is referred to as Aśvārūḍhā.
miśreśānandanāthasya prasannatvānmaheśvari |
miśravidyeti vikhyātā tasyā devyā nirantaram ||
The vidyā invoked by Miśreśānandanātha is called Miśrāmbā.
sarveṣāṃ ca svabhaktānāṃ vādarūpeṇa sarvadā |
siddhatvādvāci varadā prākhyā vāgvādinīti ca ||
Vāgvādinī is that vidyā which grants vāksiddhi to her upāsaka.
Oḍyāṇapīṭhanilayā uttarāmnāyadevatāḥ ||
The devatās of Uttarāmnāya are stationed at the Oḍyāṇa pīṭha.
śrīparānandanāthasya prasannatvātpareti sā |
prāsādarūpeṇaiveyaṃ sā parā śāmbhavī tathā ||
The vidyā perfected by Parānandanātha is called Parā and her retinue includes Parā Prāsāda, Prāsāda Parā and Parā śāmbhavī.
