Mūrtis of Hanumān

Panchamukha Hanuman

Nine avatāras of Hanumān are celebrated by upāsakas, especially those that resonate with the worship of this deity aligned with the Gāruḍa and Bhūta Tantras, rather than his seemingly later association with Rāmacandra:

ādyaḥ prasannahanumān dvitīyō vīramārutiḥ |
tr̥tīyō viṁśatibhujaḥ caturthaḥ pañcavaktrakaḥ ||
pañcamō’ṣṭādaśabhujaḥ śaraṇyaḥ sarvadēhinām |
