Shakti Pitha

The four shakti pIThas have traditionally been associated with the AdhAras as below:

mUlAdhAra: kAmarUpa
anAhata: jAlandhara
AjnA: pUrNagiri
sahasrAra: ODDiyANa

rudra yAmaLa lists a different correspondence:

mUlAdhAra: kAmarUpa
anAhata: jAlandhara
vishuddhi: pUrNagiri
lalATa: kAshikA
AjnA: jvalantI

A brief description of the navAdhAras is seen in saubhAgyalakShmyupaniShat and also a different mapping between the AdhAras and the pIThas:

mUlAdhAra: kAmarUpa
svAdhiShThAna: ODDiyANa
sahasrAra: jAlandhara
vyomachakra: pUrNagiri

In skanda yAmaLa, a totally different list is seen:

mUlAdhAra: shrIgiri
svAdhiShThAna: kAmarUpa
maNipUraka: ODDiyANa
anAhata: kedAra
vishuddhi: dvArakA
AjnA: jAlandhara
sahasrAra: pUrNagiri
dvAdashAnta: samvarta

A pUjA kalpa of hAdi sect named sundarI krama composed by a certain sambhramAnandanAtha of gurjara desha lists a peculiar pITha nyAsa involving the placement of sixteen pIThas, the corresponding shaktis and bhiravas in the sixteen AdhAras of the sUkShma deha. The nyAsa is described as found in pIThAmnAya tantra. Interestingly, puNyAnandanAtha refers to this tantra as well, which now seems to be lost.
