Sri Kamakoti Mandali is a close-knit group of upasakas and this is the e-Grantha Mandira for the disciples of the Mandali to read articles related to Srividya, Advaita and Kundalini Yoga and understand the teachings of our Guru Mandala. Our Guru belongs to the lineage of Sri Dakshinamnaya Sringeri Sharada Peetham. Born in a family of scholars, our Guru was initiated into spiritual practices in his childhood. He studied Srividya and Advaita Vedanta from Brahmasri K P Shankara Shastriji, the 'Ashthana Vidwan' of Sringeri Sharada Peetham and the Principal of Shankara Sanskrit College, Kaladi. He further studied Prasthanatraya Bhashya from Veda Brahmasri Vidyanidhi Ananthanarayana Avadhanigal. He also enjoyed the privilege of receiving guidance on Srividya, Kundalini and Kriya Yoga from various masters like Late Sri Sitaram Kaviraj, H H Paramahamsa Parivrajakacharya Sri Shantananda Saraswati, Sri C V Kamakoti Shastriji & 'Lopamudra' Smt Rajalakshmi Suryanarayanan of Guhananda Mandali, Sri Ranaji, Sri Vishuddhananda Saraswati of Sumeru Mutt and Anantasri Vibhushita Sri Chinmudranandantha.

Kamakoti Mandali has been fortunate to have in our Guru a loving Mother who has always nurtured the Shishya Brinda, never expecting anything but dedication to Upasana. This is a humble attempt to consolidate the teachings of our Guru Mandala. Kamakoti Mandali, as conceived by our Guru, is not an organization or a self-help group. It is occasionally involved in charity and various religious activities but is not associated with any Socio-religious organizations, Mutts or monasteries. Kamakoti Mandali simply means - The family of Kamakoti - of Sri Lalita Mahatripurasundari Rajarajeshwari - who shines in the Kamakoti Peetha as Sri Kamakshi Parabhattarika. The credit for this nomenclature goes to Smt. Rajam Mami (Prakashamba), who has showered limitless blessings on the Mandali.
